I don't believe that the free version of DVD_Fab provides this option. For whatever reason, this eliminated the timecode/runlength & skipped cells problem that occured if the files were split any other way. I finally stumbled on the solution, which was to use DVD_Decrypter in IFO mode and split the files according to 'Vob_ID'. The vob files which resulted from ripping with DVD_Fab could not be loaded into DivX_Author. So if you have the free one you can wait and see if an update in the future fixes this problem or you can buy the commercial one, which they promise to update.
